The LH took to battle today vs a worthy opponent. We faced each other mid week and settled for a draw, which the LH thought they could have won. Nevertheless, tonights was an all new game. Two fresh teams, full of excitement. The match kicked off and OBX had mad control straight away. The LH were suffering with a missing back 4 and having to rely on f*cking M. Healy who was very costly in giving away cheap fouls and almost causing seizures on the LH bench. The first goal to rip into a net was from, yet again, another cross from the wings of OBX, it was a great ball and nodded in neatly, proving the LH fullbacks to be weak. The second half started, LH went ham and forget their formation and changed to a 4111111, moving all around, trying to create space, there were a few moments of open fields where we could spread the legs but the ref seemed to be against it, foul was given against many a time. Sadly, even with the LH putting on the pressure, nothing could be linked up. The play was rushed due to not being built up from defense like the usual, LH came close with Claytons good but central strike after good switching from Fancy and Josh. Somehow, LH didnt score to repeat the mid week draw, we await the return fixture.
